Like so many people my passion for bicycles started when I was young. My obsession only grew as I aged. It was this obsession that kept me close to the industry. In 2004 I went to work at Spectrum Powderworks then six months later I quit. Roughly a year and a half later I went back to Spectrum and then 9 months later I quit. Third time was the money shot! In 2007 I went to work at Spectrum and I stayed until the day it sold in 2016. 9 years and 7 days. I am grateful for everything I was able to learn and the tenacity that was created from those years.
Once I left Spectrum I sat out to open my own shop, literally the next day. Paint work has always been a good fit for my personality. It’s very solitary and detail oriented. It fits my introverted nature and my desire to do high quality work. I want your bicycle to look good and I want it to stay that way for many years. I take great care with every project and only use the highest quality materials. Every frame gets stripped to raw metal and is properly handled from start to finish to ensure proper adhesion.
